Doja Cat Shuts Down Joseph Quinn Engagement Rumors With One Simple Message

Doja Cat isn't turning upside down about these rumors.
While the "Say So" singer, who has recently been linked to Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn, sparked engagement rumors while wearing a ring on that finger while performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival Sept. 21, she is firmly setting the record straight.
"No I'm not engaged," she wrote in a since-deleted X post circulating online. "It's a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it."
Nonetheless, over the past few months, Doja, 28, has been seen looking very cozy during their London outings, including packing on the PDA while out at a pub. And it seems the "Paint the Town Red" singer may have just manifested her romance with the 30-year-old.
After all, Doja previously expressed her interest in the A Quiet Place: Day One actor while chatting with his Stranger Things costar Noah Schnapp.
In a now-deleted 2022 TikTok, Noah shared messages in which she asked, "Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu?" and asked if he was single. He captioned the video, "thirsty doja."
Despite his cheeky caption, he did encourage her to "slide into his DMs," which Doja seemingly attempted. She replied, "I don't know his Instagram or Twitter. He doesn't have a DM to slide in."
But that interaction ultimately led to controversy between Doja and Noah, then 17, for sharing their private conversation publicly, but recognized he's also young.
"First let's try to be chill about it," she said TikTok live the same night. "To be fair, this is like a kid. I don't know how old he is, but there's no way he's over 21."
"When you're that young, you make mistakes," she added. "You do dumb s--t. I'm trying to be super fair. You f--k up relationships with people, you make mistakes—like you're supposed to so that you know not to do it in the future. I did my share of f--ked up so that I don't f--k up again."
However she did describe Noah's actions as "unbelievably socially unaware and wack."
"Like, that's like borderline snake s--t," she shared. "That's like, weasel s--t. And like, I'm not saying that encapsulates his entire personality. Noah is not like the definition—like I wouldn't imagine he is. Maybe he is?"
But Doja and Noah seemingly made up following the debacle with him writing on TikTok days later, "Everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings."
